Who needs a tripod and ball head when you have 3 plastic containers of Ragu spaghetti sauce and a towel for support? Well, actually I do. I can’t be expected to make it in the professional world like this. I used the “tripod” to hold my D300 and 50mm lens still while it absorbed enough light to create this photo.

Hate to give away the secret, but it’s just my stovetop with the gas turned on. I took many pictures with my “tripod” but this one I liked the best due to the flaky stuff along the bottom.
