		<description>I agree with the concept of separating the chaff, but I tend to go about it a little differently.

Since the creators of Lightroom (and many other organizational programs) have gone through the trouble of building a flagging/rating tool, why not use that to our advantage? Barring storage concerns, there&#039;s no other reason to delete files when you can simply filter them out. I go through the same routine you do, minus the deletions, and just leave my filter on &#039;picks only&#039; at the end. The end result is the same--a clean catalog with the handful of keepers showing.</description>
